Tuesday 03 August 2010 dons trust news Take your place in the squad - bids end on Wednesday The official 2010/11 squad photograph is due to be taken before the match against an Arsenal XI on Saturday 7 August. The Dons Trust is pleased to announce that, following on from the success of last year, ten supporters will once more have the opportunity to have their photograph taken as part of the squad. Five of these slots will be priced at £50, and the winning applicants will be drawn at random from those applying. The other five slots will be auctioned. Ten separate photographs will be taken, each featuring just one supporter pictured as part of the squad. The official squad photograph will of course only have members of the playing squad and management team. Here is what you need to do to apply for a framed photograph of you as part of the AFC Wimbledon squad. To be part of the random draw To have the opportunity to purchase a framed photograph for £50, please email here on or before Wednesday 4 August (7.00 pm deadline), giving your name, telephone number(s) and (if you have one) email address. Please make the email subject line “Squad photo – random draw”. Alternatively, leave a telephone message for Tina Massey via the club during office hours on 020 8547 3528 no later than 4.00 pm on Wednesday 4 August. The draw will be made on the evening of 5 August, and successful applicants will be notified that evening or the following day. Successful applicants for the random draw will have the right to withdraw their auction bid at that point. To bid in the auction To have the opportunity to bid for one of the five auctioned slots, please email here on or before Wednesday 4 August (7.00 pm deadline), giving your name, telephone number(s), email address (if you have one) and the amount you are bidding. Alternatively, leave a telephone message for Tina Massey with the amount of your bid via the club during office hours on 020 8547 3528 no later than 4.00 pm on Wednesday 4 August. We will make reasonable efforts to keep email bidders informed when there is a new highest bid, so supporters are encouraged to submit their bids by email if possible. The winning bidders will be notified on the evening of 5 August or the following day. Further announcements may be made about online bidding arrangements, so watch this space.
