Tuesday 27 July 2010 club news Are you match fit? The NHS Chlamydia team will be in the back bar at the next few home games offering free Chlamydia test kits, starting at tonight’s game against Kingstonian. Chlamydia is the most commonly diagnosed sexually transmitted infection (STI) in the UK, affecting both men and women. Most people who have it will have no symptoms, without a test you will probably not know anything is wrong. If left untreated it can cause infertility. If you are sexually active and under 25 you should be tested for Chlamydia every six months. The test for Chlamydia only needs a urine sample, you do NOT need to be examined! It can be treated with a single course of antibiotics. We send your result via text message, write to you (by post) or phone you, whichever you prefer. All contact will be totally confidential.
